Medord, OR March 30, 2015 Worst of times, the best of times. 5 more weeks to go.

March 30, 2015
So Saturday we felt prompted to go to a street to tract. So we head
over there right before the women's conference. Our tracking
experience, on this street, hit my worst top 5 list of tracking. It was
awful. People were mean and a man said some very inappropriate things
to us. After this we headed over to the church for the conference and I really
felt like we needed this conference more than anything. We needed the church
leadership to tell us we are loved, haha.
So we went and I can't even express how much this conference was so
perfect for me.
If we hadn't tracked that street than I don't think we would have
appreciated this experience. We just were so filled
with the spirit and I just felt how lucky I am to have this gospel.
How grateful I am to be so happy with what I am doing and what this
gospel has done for me. It saddened me that many still don't know
about this great gospel truth but after the conference it gave me a
hope to find those who are morning, those that are lost, and those who
are ready and need to the gospel more than anything and by the spirit
we will be able to share with them the glad message of the restored
gospel and change their lives. It made us so excited to find these
people and our goal is to find many who are ready.   I just loved how God is
so aware of our needs. We needed to have a hard
experience so our hearts would be humbled and our minds would be open
to learning and seeing all we have to appreciate all we have.
So it was just a cool moment we had that night that really changed us.
I love everyone so much and appreciate all the support and emails and
love you send to help me endure to the end. Love you all tons.

Medford, OR March 23, 2015 Lots of fun pics and new companion Sister Vance

March 23, 2015
Hey mom,
Not too much happened this week.
It's also a new transfer. Sadly it's my last. Sunday I went crazy! I was sitting in sacrament meeting and the lady speaking completely lost me and my mind was wondering. Well so much flooded my mind of the future it made me panic and I just lost it. I prayed during the meeting for help and to help me refocus. Right then I was reminded of what someone told me, when you get stressed. "All I have to do next is.." And it helps to refocus to the present and push away the future. I was so overcome with peace knowing everything was going to be okay and I just got to take things one step at a time. My new companion is Sister Vance and has been out for about half her mission. I really want to make it an awesome transfer with her. I want to do all I can to help her love this area and love her mission. So far I am doing good. I am on the go and ready to run. So we shall see how I do each day and hopefully it will continue to work out.
I love you mom and thank you so much for your awesome energy and love. Miss you tons!

Medford, OR March 16, 2015 Sick with Bronchitis

March 16, 2015
Hey mom,
Sorry this maybe short.
This week has been interested. So I found out I might have bronchitis. A doctor gave me drugs for it and it's still in the cycle of going away. When I emailed you last Monday I thought it was a sickness that would blow over but then Tuesday and Wednesday it got so bad I was in bed most the day. I have such a bad cough and my body was all over the place with problems. So by Friday I was up and about going but I was emotionally not well and I was so down in the dumps. But I spent a lot of time praying and relying on the atonement for help. I feel the hardest thing I have faced on my mission is the concept of being sick and not having s mom. Companions are great but at times they are just not the same and here you still have to work and get better at the same time so it's just super awful and you make due. But it for sure made me reflect a lot on what I would like to do these next 7 months. I learned so much of what Heavenly Father has in store for me. I got a blessing and I realized that every blessing I have received on my mission each have said that Heavenly Father is proud of me and who I am and what I am doing.
I feel this is what really got me through it all. So I take what I love and feel the spirit and run with it. I feel it's fine to talk about things your excited about when you leave your mission. Not all the time but here and there I feel it's fine. Because that is human and not robotic. My companion told me though she doesn't like to talk about home at times because she doesn't feel worthy to leave. It really hit me then. I never thought of that. Am I worthy to come home? Another elder said that in a dream God asked him. Is the work done? He said no.
I reflected on all of this and know there is so much I must still sacrifice to do my Heavenly Father’s business. And I am ok with being myself and relying on the things I hope for and look forward to. It's truly has brought me comfort that from what I have done God is proud of me. Being so imperfect and scared to talk to some people or make excuses, He still is proud, patient and helps me do what he needs me to do. God named me Sister Fletcher so I can come to Oregon and use my strengths, improve my weakness, and be the best servant he needs me to be to do his work.
This week has really been hard but amazing. Hard but life changing. I love my mission so much and I wouldn't change it for the world. The miracles I have seen will forever change me and for what these people have made me will stick with me and help me after this stage of life.
I know my Savior has always been there and even though I am not perfect he still loves me perfectly and helps me through it all. Because he knows what it's like and understands.
The family that got baptized was the elders baptism but it was a family who had investigated for a year and all the elders who taught them got to come and see their baptism. It was pretty special.
Hope things get better this week for you and everyone. I love you so much!! Xoxox
